Tohill bemoans Derry display thumbnailFrancis McEldowney of Derry makes a desperate attempt to get the ball from Fermanagh’s Liam McBarron. It was all in vain though as Fermanagh went on to dump the Oak Leaf boys out of the Ulster Senior Football Championship.

"We're getting used to it. Another very disappointing performance. Fermanagh fully deserved their victory."
These are the words of Derry legend Anthony Tohill after Derry succumbed to semi-final heartbreak against Fermanagh in Omagh on Saturday.
The former Oak-leaf man spoke to The Northern Constitution after the final whistle, and pinpointed where he felt Derry went wrong.
“The game was lost for me in the first half when Derry had an abundance of possession but didn't kick the ball inside to the two players who were capable of winning the game for us," he said.
“Derry went to 1-04 after fifteen minutes and scored just one point in the second quarter. Fermanagh deserved their victory. It was their night and they fully deserved it."
When asked if there was an over-reliance on one player, and if the suspension of Fergal Doherty had hindered Derry on the day, Tohill replied: "Ah I don't know about that! When the talk is about over-reliance on one player it's usually about Paddy Bradley. Fergal was a loss there tonight. He was a loss in terms of his leadership there tonight.
